Another Sad Loss

The Biking Life family mourns the death of Ride for Kids co-founder Mike Traynor. The Ride For Kids events are the main funding source for The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. This is a foundation that was started by and is supported by motorcyclists.

Starting with a single ride in Atlanta in 1984, the Ride For Kids has expanded to 39 events across the country in 2009. Due in a large part to the dedication of Mike and Dianne Traynor, over $50 million has been raised for research and family support for children with brain tumors.

The St Louis area Ride for Kids is this Sunday Sept 20. The ride starts and ends at St Charles Community College. Registration is 8:00 - 9:45 AM with the ride starting at 10:00. Please come out and support the the ride in memory of Mike Traynor. More information may be found on the web site for the foundation. www.pbtfus.org
