Patches Welcome
This is just a quick reminder to all that the Wide Open Bike Show at the Family Arena in St Charles this weekend is a biker friendly event. Which means they allow all bikers the freedom to express their affiliation to any group be it the local HOG Chapter, their faith, their veteran status, or any other affiliation. We will have a booth set up there and we ask you to stop by say hi and pick up a copy of the magazine, a DVD or two. We will be having a show special on the DVDs $3 each or 2 for $5 or a t-shirt. I will also have tickets available for this years Hartbauer/McBride Progressive 50/50 raffle last years winner got over $2,000. We'll see you there.

I applaud Ralph to for standing up for bikers rights.
Since you and Ralph will be there, no thanks.
Thanks for visiting the website every visit improves our web stats.
anonymous you have to admit that this blog is always good for at least a laugh. usually you have to catch jim in public for a laugh. here, you can catch him makin an ass of himself pretty regular. keep jims web stats up. the world needs comedy
Well, at least Jim is funny. What's it to you anyway? I think everyone who reads your post can see who the real ass is.
Well, I guess if I was petty enough to skip an event because of 2 people being there I'd spend a lot of time hunched up in my Mom's basement on her computer anonymously making snide remarks too.
Ok folks, settle down. The purpose of any blog is to do just this. Start a conversation about a certain subject and if the blog creator wishes to allow anyone to comment, it is their choice. Sometimes Jim gets a little overboard with his entries, and can cause a flurry of entries. The other purpose of blogging is to help a website with logged hits. This is used to his advantage. So by starting a blog of a sensitive nature, one can assume that the website's popularity has grow. It reminds me of the radio "Shock Jocks". They are popular for a short lived time. Once the "Shock" of a blog withers it simply disappears on its own.
Since no one else is using their real names except Jim, I will sign off now.
Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow.
Oh it is spelled Mowhawk not Mohawk!
If you are going to get that picky Jim, Mohawk is the more common spelling although the Mowhawk Man does spell it with the extra 'w'. When it comes a person's name there is no telling how someone might spell it.
Why someone feels the need to drag yet another person's name into this is beyond me.
Everything is beyond you Jim
It seems to me if you are going to post about a person, you should at least know how to spell their name correctly. Otherwise, you don't know enough about that person to comment. In addition to the chickens who post anonymously or as f. Gump, you sound like you are middle schoolers: "I don't like you Jim, so I'll call you names." Grow up!
Just curious--will they also respect the rights of people legally authorized to carry concealed firearms?
I cannot speak to that but may ask the promoter.
Jim why is it that everytime you post something that starts with "patch" or "colors" people who dont wear "colors" are the ones commenting and they are all named anonymous ? funny how that works ! I want wings so I am heading to Geo's. see you around.
I choose not to put my name for reason. But ill always show my colors proud. Jim is an idiot, and his mouth has a long history of causing him touble. He talks about colors and patches, whatever, and has no clue or experience with any of it. We live by a differant set of standards. I dont need the likes of Jim Furey to speak up for me. I can very much do that on my own. Id find another way to draw attention to your magazine if I were you.
Anonymous, all bikers, patch holders and otherwise, need to lobby for bikers' rights. Without a cohesive front, we will lose. Rather than moaning about how you don't want Jim Furey to promote bikers' rights, you should be applauding someone who is willing to stand up for them. Anyone who is concerned would put their petty grievances aside and work towards a common goal for bikers instead of whining about how "I wanted to do it all by myself." Anyone with a small amount of common sense could see that it is not possible to win all by yourself or even with a few of your club brothers. For those who actually want to help rather than make personal attacks against people, there are good organizations lobbying for you, like FORR and ABATE.
Outlaw, Alton--Didn't realize you'd actually had the guts to put some identifying info on your last post. My post was meant for you. Jim may speak out, but at least he puts his name out there. The rest of you who make all these personal attacks are too lily-livered to let the world see what you have to say. I guess that says a lot about what "big" guys you are.
I am a F.O.R.R. member and I am speaking for myself right now. Jim does not help our cause by going around bragging about snipers at biker event. He is even making money selling t-shirts about this one time event. Jim is bring the wrong type of PR to the fight for our rights.
I want to stay anonymous because who knows what Jim will do next...
Well Mel, maybe ill be seeing you around. Do you hang out at that bike night in belleville? Feel free to come up and introduce yourself.
F.O.R.R. well said.
I have never heard Jim brag about snipers being at the swap meet. Appalled and dismayed is more like it. The t-shirts bring publicity to the fact that snipers were on roofs around that biker swap meet only because it was a biker event. Any publicity that brings awareness to this issue should be welcome. If you really are a F.O.R.R. member (and I doubt that very much), I would think you would have thought this through better.
I thank Mel, Rich, Dan, Dave, Hannibal and all who offered words of support here. I also thank all of you who made a meaningful comment even if you disagreed. Although the Wide Open Show going on this weekend is a fact, that it is open to patch holders is a fact also.
Oh and i thank all of you who stopped by today at the show. I appreciate your support.
