Another Busy Weekend for Motorcyclists

This weekend continues the fun events of the past riding season. There is the Motorheads Halloween Party in Trenton, Il at Jailhouse Rock on Saturday night, Doc's Open house in Kirkwood during the day. A poker run for SGT Nick Walsh that leaves from Collinsville to and a new event the Southern Illinois Party Run which will leave from L and Bs in New Athens and cruise to Hogdaddy's in Old Shawneetown for an evening of partying, this doesn't benefit anyone it is just about having a good time.

Sunday is another busy day there is a benefit for Big Bill at 21 Rock in St Louis, the Kirkwood HOG Fall Ride which as always fun, A car and Bike Show at The Phoenix for a young girls medical expenses and there will be a calendar shoot at the Brew Haus in Benld, IL and that sounds like fun.

Whatever you do this weekend have fun and we'll talk to you on down the road.

18th Crown Royals M/C BBQ Bike and Car Show Fundraiser

18th 2nd Annual Amberfest sponsored by the VFW Riders
sign-up 10 a.m.-noon at the Brew Haus Tavern, Illinois Route 162, in Troy, Illinois $10 per bike first 100 to sign up get a free Fisher House t-shirt door prizes, 50-50, food and music. All proceeds go toward the Fisher House that is going to be built at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. Ground breaking for the building will be on November 11, 2008. Fisher House is like a Ronald McDonald House in that families can stay there for free while their loved one is recuperating in the hospital. 18th Poker Run for the Mentally Challenged
The Village of the Blue Rose (www.villagevluerose.org) a living community for mentally challenged adults. is hosting a poker run on Oct. 18. 2008. Registration is from 10:30 to 12:00 at Hobos at the Legion 200 Main St. St. Peters, Mo. The Missouri Mules are also having a dice run on Sunday. Sign up is from 10 to 11 AM at Jack's Iron Horse.

There is also another poker run this one has signup at Bobecks in Waterloo, IL from 10 to 11 AM.
