Finally Thursday has arrived and it looks like the weather will be off the charts. Sop why not grab a bunch of your friends and come on out to Geo's and make some new ones. Geo's at 4307 West Main St in Belleville, IL has the largest bike night in the region and has for 4 years running. come find out what your friends already know Geo's is the place to go.

Call to Action for Missouri Voters

This email was sent to me earlier please respond if you can.

Please take the time to write, e-mail, call, and/or call you Senator and DEMAND that SJR25 be passed and the freedom of choice remains in the vote of the peolpe’s hands! This Senate Joint Resolution is referring to our freedom of choice in health care, and if we do not have our voices, our votes, accounted for NOW...I don’t foresee it being pretty. Seriously, this is a crucial point in history and Missouri can make it happen! Passing of SJR25 will next go to Supreme Court, so passing of SJR25 right here in Missouri could very well help the rest of the nation. It cannot be vetoed by the Governor, as it will be a constitutional amendment. This is all good in the House; the fight for the pass is in the Senate, as only one vote can filibuster this thing.

I shouldn’t have to sit here and beg you to do something so little as a few moments of your time to contact your Senator for such a vital issue that WILL affect the rest of YOUR LIFE…but I will… to ensure that all 2,825 of my closest friends have my back on this and actually do this thing! This will be on the Senate floor this Tuesday, which just so happens to be a Capitol Crusader Day (May 4th); I will be there first thing in the am (I normally do not show until Afternoon Session on Tuesdays). Please, contact your senator and ask, plead, implore, beseech, pray, insist, demand… (don’t beg…grin)…that they pass SJR25 and make sure to thank them, too. Below is a summary of this Resolution. Upon voter approval, this constitutional amendment provides that no federal law shall compel a patient, employer, or health care provider to participate in any government or privately run health care system, nor prohibit a patient or employer from paying directly for legal health care services.

This amendment does not affect laws or regulations in effect as of January 1, 2010, affect which health care services a health care provider is required to perform, affect which health care services are provided by law, or prohibit care provided under worker's compensation.

Springfield Swap Meet

Well despite the weather the Midwest Motorcycle Swap Meet in Springfield turned out well. Attendance was good and we had a nice selection of vendors. I spoke to many of the vendors and they said they had a good day and wondered when our next show would be. That is always a good sign. We are in the process of looking for a location closer to St Louis for the next one and we will keep you posted my thanks to all who came out to support this event and look forward to seeing you down the road.

Tomorrow

It looks like it may rain here tomorrow so why not load up the vehicle with a bunch of friends and road trip to the Midwest motorcycle Swap Meet in the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. There are already many cool bikes in the show, a vast array of great vendors and of course the classic rock will be played by the Midwest's hottest band Hush. It sounds like a plan to me but whatever you do thanks for making us part of your biking life.

Lots of fun stuff this weekend. I hope you make it some of them of course a personal favorite would be the Midwest Motorcycle Swap Meet in Springfield, IL on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Of course since this is our event we welcome riders to wear their patches. We have a ton of great vendors, some really awesome bikes have promised to take part in the show and the Midwest's Hottest band Hush will be performing but whatever you choose to do Also Wang Gang Asian is having their first biker day and offering great specials, I thank you for making us part of your biking life.

As the date approaches the hits are just blasting off as more and more people want to know and vend at the next Midwest Motorcycle Swap Meet this Sunday at the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, IL. A Lesson in the Law

Here is a legal definition some may not have known about.

Tortious interference with business relationships occurs where the tortfeasor acts to prevent the plaintiff from successfully establishing or maintaining business relationships. This tort may occur when a first party's conduct intentionally causes a second party not to enter into a business relationship with a third party that otherwise would probably have occurred. Such conduct is termed tortious interference with prospective business relations, expectations, or advantage or with prospective economic advantage.

These are some of the events we know about this weekend. There is always something going on at Big St Charles, and Ted's is hosting a party as well. There is also Supercross at the Dome today. The weather looks goo for the weekend so let's get out and enjoy. I or Joy and I will be hitting the Hill Cigar Party, maybe Ted's, Chasers later on today and we are meeting folks around 10 at the Denny's on ILL 159 in Belleville, IL for breakfast before heading out to Paderborn around 11:30 for the Rat Pack's Run. Great Day to Ride

Looks like a great day to ride either with friends or to the Blessing of The Bikes at Springdale. Why be inside when you can ride as I will be doing here shortly. Joy an dI went to the Chicken and Beer Dance for the Fisher House at the Collinsville,, IL VFW last night it was nice but it sure would have been awesome to see some more bikes there. Maybe next year, the most moving part of the night was a lady who spoke of the time she stayed at a Fisher House while here father was in a Veteran's Hospital. This is a very worthy cause and certainly worth a donation. Thanks for making us part of your biking life.
